As RCT Council Staff, we all have a part to play in protecting vulnerable individuals and reporting concerns. 

This course has been designed to refresh your understanding of your responsibilities as Council staff with regard to Keeping People Safe. The course provides an overview to key topics in Keeping People Safe including; Safeguarding, VAWDASV, Modern Slavery and Sexual Harassment. 

This module sits at level 2 on the training framework and follows on from Module 1 - Understanding Autism and Module 2 - Understanding effective communication and Autism which sit at level 1 on the training framework.

Risk management plays an important role in helping to manage risks and opportunities in a practical and cost effective manner.
