Every year, the fire service attends hundreds of thousands of fires around the UK. While a considerable number of these are domestic fires, a significant number are fires that start in the workplace.

The most obvious danger to employees from fire in the workplace is the risk of sustaining burns. However, fire also causes many other threats to safety that may not be immediately apparent.

This course has been developed to provide basic information to help site managers understand and fulfil their fire safety responsibilities at their premises.
