    To implement strategies to identify and reduce the risk of malnutrition in residential care home patients’

     

     

    Learning objectives :

     

    To understand malnutrition in a residential care home setting

    To demonstrate practices to calculate malnutrition risk using MUST  

    To understand the food first approach and how best to implement this when someone is at risk of malnutrition

    How to appropriately monitor and when to appropriately refer to the dietetic team
