• Important Note

The Cyber Ninjas training covers a range of cyber security best practices to help you stay safe both at work and in your personal life. Whilst we support all the guidance provided, please note that some practices—such as password managers and multi-factor authentication (MFA)—are currently applied in a more targeted way within the council (e.g. Password manager is currently not available at work, this has been included for awareness when using personal (Non work) devices. MFA is enabled for administrative accounts only).

These topics are included to reflect industry standards and raise awareness of evolving security practices. Even if not used council-wide, they offer valuable advice—especially for protecting your personal information outside of work. We encourage you to engage fully with the training and consider how these practices can benefit you.

Please also note that Module 012 refers to a ‘Lost & Stolen Policy’. For our procedure on reporting lost or stolen devices, please refer to RCT’s Procedure for Reporting Information Security Incidents and Events on Inform here.
