• Aims & Objectives

    This induction training will cover the key practical expectations of the employee's role within children's residential care. Information and discussion will include;

    -        Incident management and reporting

    -        Risk assessments

    -        Medication recording

    -        Daily file records

    -        Personal plans

    -        Effective communication with children

    -        RISCA Compliance

     

    Following this training staff will be equipped with practical skills and knowledge to contribute to and maintain high standards of care for children. The training will include reference to the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 (RISCA)
