    Aim:

    - An understanding of the sociological theories and their relationship to person / child centred practice.

    Objectives:

    - To understand sociological theories (Social Model of Disability, Theory of Functionalism, Conflict Theory);

    - To discuss the application of sociological theories to support person / child centred practice.
