 To understand the current legislative framework and organisational health and safety and risk management policies, procedures and practices relevant to role.

Aims:

 Explain the legislative framework  for health and safety and risk management in their work setting;

• Analyse how policies and procedures and practices in their own setting meet the requirements;

• Evaluate the health and safety and risk management policies, procedures and practices in their work setting;

• Identify areas of policies, procedures and practices that need improvement to ensure safety and protection in the work setting
