Foster Carers Courses
Welcome to the Cwm Taf Foster Carer Training platform. Courses are available to all Foster, kinship/connected persons and SGO carers within Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf.
All the training set out reflects the learning outcomes from the post approval learning and development framework for foster carers. It is your responsibility as foster carers to keep this plan up to date following any training you complete, and it should then be saved on Source so your supervising social workers can sign off in supervision sessions. Make sure you are aware of the learning hours you need to complete, there are set hours for primary and secondary carers.
