Management in Practice Programme
The programme is suitable for the following people from the Social Care Sector in Cwm Taf:
• Social Work Team Managers
• Managers of Social Care settings (Residential and Domiciliary)
• Senior Social Workers/Consultant Social Workers/ Senior Practitioners
• Deputy/Assistant Managers
• Senior Support Workers/Senior Care Officers
• Team Leaders
• Aspiring managers – a minimum of a Level 2 qualification is required (NVQ/QCF)
• For learners currently accessing the University of South Wales Step Up To Management L4 Programme
The programme consists of a series of one day learning events where theory and research is explored and consideration is given as to how this will work in practice. The content of the programme is based on National Occupational Standards (NOS) for leaders and managers, as recognised by Social Care Wales.
