Can expenses be claimed for moving or storing furniture and belongings?

In order to claim removal expenses, two separate estimates of costs must first be submitted to the Director of Human Resources.

If an allowance is granted, there would be an expectation that the employee would undertake to remain in the service of the Council for a minimum of two years from the date of appointment. Should they resign prior to this two-year period then they would be expected to reimburse the Council 1/24th of the total amount advanced in respect of each calendar month not completed at the date of termination.
