JOB SHARE

Can two people in the same team but in different jobs request to be put in a job share and the resultant vacancy advertised?

No it's not as simple as that, as both have individual contracts and are in different posts, each role will have to be looked at to determine whether or not it is suitable for job share.

Once this has been determined then any job share post agreed would have to be advertised in line with the process in the Job Share Policy to allow equality of opportunity for all employees who may wish to apply in line with the Recruitment and Selection Procedures.
