Course Title TIPS – Trauma Informed Practice - Working With People Who Have Experienced ACES

- Trafod arfer da wrth ymgysylltu'r rhai sy'n derbyn gwasanaethau sydd wedi profi trawma plentyndod
- Cynyddu ymwybyddiaeth o straen a thrawma yn y corff- Archwilio'r cysylltiadau rhwng PTSD cymhleth ac ymddygiadau caethiwus
- Ymarfer defnyddio offer i gefnogi perthnasoedd â'r rhai sy'n derbyn gwasanaethau
- Datblygu ein lles drwy meithrin y gallu i hunanreoleiddio drwy offer adnoddau a sefydlogi.
- Helpu staff i ddeall symptomau llosgi allan/ blinder tosturi a thrawma dirprwyol
- Datblygu hunan-ofal drwy adeiladu ffiniau iach
- Diweddaru ar y gwaith cyfredol yng Nghymru o ddatblygu sefydliadau sy'n hysbysu am drawma (TrACE).- To recap on the research and evidence base around ACEs in relation to those who use drugs and alcohol
- To discuss good practice in engaging those in receipt of services who have experienced childhood trauma
- To increase awareness of stress and trauma in the body
- To explore the links between complex PTSD and addictive behaviours
- To practice using tools for supporting relationships with those in receipt of services
- To develop our wellness by building the capacity to self-regulate through resourcing and stabilisation tools.
- To help staff understand symptoms of burn out/ compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma
- To develop self-care by building healthy boundaries
- To update on current work in Wales in developing trauma informed (TrACE) organisations
