• Aims & Objectives

     Participants will learn (or have affirmed) how underpinned by the Social Services and Wellbeing Act 2014 a strengths based relational approach enables positive risk assessing, risk taking and risk management

     - participants will develop their knowledge and awareness of good practice in 'positive risk taking' (e.g. greater choice and flexibility in care and support, collective decision making, connecting to community resources etc)

     - how they can develop or nurture positive risk taking approach in their work (and what might get in the way and how to address it)

     - consider how they can record safety planning and positive risk taking decisions in an outcome focussed and strengths based way
