• Target Audience: Leaders with a responsibility for supervising staff.

    Pre-requisites:  This learning is suitable for people who have taken part in previous sessions about the butterfly model approach to culture change.  It can be emotionally challenging.  Please read the accompanying handout carefully before attending.  Please bring with you three items that mean something to you from your life journey that you are comfortable to share with the group.  This can be an item, a piece of music, a photo etc.  It can be from any point in your life.

    Course Aim - To introduce managers to an experiential learning training exercise that will assist with team bonding.

     Objectives: By the end of the session managers will have:

    · Taken part in an experiential learning exercise

    · Shared some stories about their life journey with colleagues

     · Listened carefully to the stories of others

     · Reflected inwardly about the impact of a person’s life on their emotional development

     · Understood that a person’s ‘stuff’ has a significance beyond its material value

     · Gained a fuller appreciation that ‘feelings matter most’ in all of us
