    Aims and Objectives:

    Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course participants will have a better understanding of:

    •         When s.117 aftercare responsibilities arise, what they cover and how they relate to other duties under e.g. the SSWB(W)A & the Continuing Healthcare Framework;

    •         What is expected of the local authority and LHB, & how to approach who does what;

    •         How issues of ordinary residence relate to s.117 entitlement;

    •         What local policies require in terms of assessment & planning processes and forms.
