    Aims and Objectives

    By the end of the course, participants will have:

    • considered the purpose and mechanics of chronologies and genograms 
    • looked at the benefits of and the role that chronologies and genograms play in the assessment process
    • reflected on the what, how, where and when of information to be compiled
    • practiced how to critically reflect the information and formulate analysis
    • recognised how to keep the child at the centre of practice and how to reflect the child’s lived experience in the recording
