Aims & Objectives
• Fydd yr angen i ystyried cyfweliad gweledol wedi'i recordio ddim bob amser yn amlwg iawn i'r gweithwyr proffesiynol sy'n rhan o'r cam cyswllt cychwynnol. Even where it is apparent, the need to take immediate action in terms of securing medical attention and making initial decisions about safeguarding and the criminal investigation plan might be such that some initial questioning is necessary.
• The course concentrates on the importance of the initial contact with the child as part of serious, complex or major investigations.
• This course aims to improve the skills of the investigator in order that they are able to conduct effective and professional investigations from the start of a child abuse referral.
