Maximising Attendance - Reporting and Communicating for Employees

The Council values the contribution made by its employees and recognises that high levels of attendance at work are a vital factor in the efficient operation of the Council's services.  With this in mind, the Council aims to provide a supportive and inclusive working environment that encourages all employees to manage their health and wellbeing and maintain their attendance at work.

In this reporting and communicating section, you will find information and e-Learning modules on:

  • Notification and Certification - how and when to contact your manager when you are off due to ill health, and what certification you need to provide, such as GP fit notes
  • Welfare Visits - information on Welfare Visits, when and where they take place, who and what is involved and how often they happen
